Audit and internal controls for SMEs that want clean books

An independent look at your books and cash controls: what reconciles, what leaks, and what to fix first — delivered as a findings letter you can hand to a lender.

Verified: every figure traced, every control tested.

What we examine

SL7 · Books

Books review

Your ledger against bank statements, TRA filings and NSSF schedules — every gap named with the document that closes it.

SL7 · Cash

Cash controls

Who handles cash, who approves spending, and where the leaks are: receipting, mobile-money handling, stock counts and separation of duties.

SL7 · Letter

Findings letter

A priority-ordered fix list with owner and deadline per item — written so a loan officer can cite it as independent assurance.

Fixed scope, fixed fee

Scoped before we start, never open-ended. Small businesses at TZS 600,000, medium at TZS 1,200,000. You approve the scope sheet, we do the fieldwork, you receive the findings letter and a walkthrough of every priority fix.

Figures above are the approved bands (Task 1.3, 2026-09-29) — the only prices we quote. Cleanup of the findings can continue as a 50/50 project, and the monthly discipline as a retainer from TZS 250,000 a month.

Questions owners ask

Is this a statutory audit?

No — this is an internal-controls and books review for owner-run businesses, scoped to what you and your lender need. If the law requires a statutory audit for your company, we tell you at the health check and refer accordingly.

Small or medium — which are we?

Transaction volume, headcount and facility size decide it, and we confirm the band in the scope sheet before work starts. The fee never moves mid-engagement.

Will the bank accept your findings letter?

That is what it is written for: an independent, priority-ordered account of your books and controls with supporting schedules. Pair it with a bank proposal when you apply for a facility.

What happens after the findings?

You fix, we verify: cleanup runs as a fixed 50/50 project, then a monthly retainer — Basic Compliance at TZS 250,000 or Full Financial Management at TZS 400,000 — keeps the controls alive.
